Why Australia Need Fashion Revolution?

On a fateful day, on 24 April 2013, there were workers from five garment factors, mostly young women, bent over sewing machines, without realising that a disaster awaits them. It was the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh. The building collapsed, killing 1,138 people and injuring 2,500. It got dubbed as the fourth largest industrial disaster in the world, and it also gave rise to Fashion Revolution. Understanding Fashion Revolution Fashion Revolution not only commemorates the collapse of the Rana Plaza building but also endeavours to make garment manufacturers accountable.
